Padlock Stations are manufactured from industrial strength thermoplast which provides good heat resistance and impact strength for use in harsh industrial environments. It comes with a storage capacity for 20 Lockout Padlocks, 4 Hasps and up to 20 Lockout Tags.
The Wall Mounted Padlock Stations are made from tough polycarbonate material which provides heat resistance and high impact strength which is superior to typical acrylic lockout stations. It has reinforced snap-on clips which provide easy storage and removal of padlocks and hasps. The one piece molded construction avoids any loose parts and also does not require any assembling. The size of the station is 558 height x 558 width x 44mm depth. The unfilled station provides flexibility to add Padlocks of desired color and types.
Padlock Stations keep the locks secured in a designated area which easy to locate for the employees during a Lockout Tagout situation. Employees servicing or maintaining machines or equipment may be exposed hazardous energy if it is not isolated during maintenance. Workers need to be trained to ensure that they know, understand and follow the applicable provisions of the hazardous energy control procedures. The training must cover at least three areas: aspects of the employer’s energy control program, elements of the energy control procedure relevant to the employee’s duties or assignment, and the various requirements of the OSHA standards related to lockout/tagout. Padlock stations are also important part of group lockout situations as they help to ensure that all lockout equipment are returned and replaced to its designated place before the equipment can be switched back to ON position.
